Our Story
We’re a family of six. Chris, Courtney, and four boys under six. Yes, four boys. Yes, it’s exactly as wild as it sounds.
Courtney grew up in Canada with real winters, proper snow, and a deep love for the outdoors. She’s a family physician by training, and while she’s not currently practicing, she’s very much a doctor mom (which comes in handy with four little daredevils). Chris is a lawyer and entrepreneur from Atlanta who’s spent years building businesses. Together, we’ve built something more important: a family that refuses to wait for “someday.”
Why Big Life Little Crew?
We got tired of the endless cycle. You know the one. Work hard, save up, and maybe one day you’ll get to live the life you actually want. One day when the kids are older. One day when things slow down. Someday.
We decided to stop waiting and just do it.
Chris still runs his businesses. Courtney still shows up every single day as a physician, a mom, and a partner. We’re just a family that chose to break free of the inertia of the day-to-day, to challenge the perception of what’s “normal” or what’s possible when you have young kids, careers, and a whole lot of ambition.
Big Life Little Crew is the real story of what that looks like. Not the polished Instagram version. The actual ups and downs, the beautiful chaos, the hard parts, and the moments of pure magic that make it all worth it. We’re living a life by design, and we’re sharing how we’re doing it because we believe it’s possible for more families than you’d think.
What We Believe
- Family first, always. The travel is just the backdrop. The real story is us.
- Break free. Of the inertia. Of the “normal.” Of waiting for someday. It’s possible. And it’s worth it.
- Living unapologetically. We’re designing our life on our own terms. No permission needed, no apologies given.
- Give more than you take. We share this journey because if even one family sees what’s possible and takes the leap, it was all worth it.
