End of Week One. Here’s What’s Actually True.
Week one is done. Chris and I sat down to talk through what the first week actually felt like. Not the version we’d post on a highlight reel, the real one. What was harder than we expected, what surprised us, what the boys have already figured out that we haven’t, and the moment we looked at each other and thought, okay, this is actually working. We talk about the scooters (best decision we’ve made so far), what it’s like moving through a city with four kids including a baby, why the days feel all over the place, and what it means to start feeling like we’re getting the real Italy, not the tourist version. Week one in the books. Here’s what’s true.
